This course will cover advanced techniques in non-fiction storytelling. Through a hands on, practicum-driven workload, students will learn every aspect of preparing a documentary film for broadcast. By the end of the semester each student will have successfully pitched, produced, and edited a finished documentary film of high production value. In addition, through a series of lectures, each student will gain a greater understanding of non-fiction form, story structure, and the industry of streaming media.
