A director’s job is to communicate their vision to each department head so that the filmmaking process runs as smoothly and effectively as possible. In this course through readings, viewings, exercises, assignments, and, most importantly, thoughtful feedback and discussions, this workshop will address the multitude of responsibilities of a film director, with an ultimate goal of further sharpening students’ narrative, visual, and emotional awareness.
