Mindy holds a BA in English from Kansas State University, an MA in Communications from SMU, and an MLIS from UT Austin.
Field Experience:
Mindy, a librarian with Austin Public Library, founded The Authors’ Assistant (www.authorsassistant.com) in 1996, which offers editing, writing, and publishing services for both established and emerging authors.
Her collection of short stories:
Women of A Certain Age was published in 2018 and her novel This is the Dawning: a Woodstock Love Story was published in 2019, in time for Woodstock’s 50 year anniversary.
Something Fun:
A veteran of musical theater, Mindy continues her love of singing as a member of the Austin Community College Choir.
