Educational Background:

Certification to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) from the Royal Society of Arts, Cambridge, England.

 

Field Experience: 

Prior to joining ACC, I worked for 5 years in project management at the process controls engineering firm, Emerson, Inc. where I became interested in technical writing. I have worked as a corporate trainer for Samsung and Microsoft and completed training documentation projects for clients such as Apple and Black & Decker. 

I have taught abroad for several years, having received a Fulbright stipend to teach English at the largest technical college in Europe (HTL Moedling, Austria). I also taught English at a Japanese high school on the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Program (Gero-cho, Japan).

 

Something Fun About Me:

I was one of the first Americans allowed to travel through Vietnam when the country re-opened to such travel. My current interests include technological innovation in the areas of vehicle automation, microelectronics, Big Data, and medical and scientific research.
