The Art Galleries (TAG) at Austin Community College includes two main gallery spaces at Highland Campus, in addition to auxiliary spaces around the college.
Gallery 2000 (HLC 2.2450) features emerging and established Central Texas artists and special projects.
Gallery 4000 (HLC 4.2105) is programmed through faculty, student-led, and community initiatives.
Art Lab, the corridor outside the Sculpture Shop (4.1410.05) in building 4000, is a space for students to install site-specific works and for Studio Art faculty to conduct class critiques.
Getting to the Galleries
We currently have two available areas for parking on ACC Highland Campus. At this time, parking permits and fees are not being enforced.
Once you have parked in the South Parking Garage, exit the garage at the southwest corner near Entry 1. Then, follow the sidewalk to the pedestrian crossings leading towards Building 4000 & the Paseo. Gallery 2000 is located on the right-hand side at the entrance of the Paseo.
Once you have parked in the Visitor Parking Lot, head towards Building 4000. Our Gallery 4000 is located inside.
If you are visiting us on the train, our galleries are located on the Red Line at the Highland stop. Once you are at the station, make your way east across Airport Blvd and onto ACC Highland Campus. The Art Galleries at ACC are located in Building 2000 and 4000.
The Art Galleries at ACC are also accessible via Austin’s public bus system. Visit the CapMetro website and use the Trip Planner to identify the best route for you.
The exhibitions, events, and programs at The Art Galleries at ACC are accessible to all visitors.
