CONTEXTUALIZED COURSES
SPCH 1311 for Health Professionals:
SPCH 1311: Introduction to Speech Communication is offered as a contextualized course for Health Sciences majors. Students in this course learn the same basic principles as in other SPCH 1311 sections, but with a focus on health. In addition to projects applying communication concepts to the healthcare context, students have the opportunity to participate in service learning.
This course is offered online and in-person at both the Highland campus and the Round Rock campus. Anyone interested in the health communication is welcome, but students entering the health professions are especially encouraged to register for this course.
