With 15+ years teaching as a faculty member at Austin Community College, Shih-Yu has spent the last 5 years focusing on online courses as well as mentoring new faculties and assisting students with their progress in their courses and degree plan.

Always looking for new ways to improve teaching/student engagement, implemented the first class in ACC Music department to offer curriculum with Adobe Education Exchange utilizing Adobe software.

In his free time, Shih-Yu enjoys constantly learning and pursuing knowledge. Currently learning to program and enjoys the many fun activities that Austin has to offer.
