Jackie Carter holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where she studied with Dr. Diana Sipes. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Jackie moved to Denton, TX where she earned a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of North Texas, where she studied with Terri Sundberg. Jackie is currently an adjunct music professor at Austin Community College in addition to being an active freelancer in the greater Austin area. Jackie also maintains a private flute studio in the Austin area/online and gives private flute lessons to middle and high school students in Texas.
