The ACC Music Department is proud of our recent graduates and alumni. Check out what some of our recent alumni are up to now!
Catalina Hill – Cat was a voice student of Dr. Blythe Cates and was featured in the role of Miriam in the Spring 2024, ACC production of The Scarf by Lee Hoiby. They competed in the Texoma National Association of Teachers of Singing and were recently accepted to study at the prestigious San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Cat will be continuing their education under the guidance of renowned mezzo-soprano, Suzanne Metzner.
David Arce Bustos – David was a piano student of Dr. Shane Anderson and began formal piano study in 2020 at ACC. He received an AA degree in Keyboard from ACC in 2022 and recently completed a Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Studies at Texas A&M University at Kingsville.
David will begin his Master of Music in Jazz Studies degree at the University of North Texas in 2024.
Nolan Hart – Nolan was a trombone student of Billy Gayman at ACC. Nolan was just recently accepted into the Camp Humphreys Army Band in South Korea as a member of the US Army.
Benjamin Roe – Ben earned his Associate of Arts in Voice from ACC in the spring of 2024 as a voice student of Dr. Blythe Cates. While at ACC he participated in numerous college productions as well as summer stock productions. Ben received a scholarship to the Manhattan New School of Theatre and Dance and will begin in the fall of 2024.
John Sweeney – John earned his Associate of Arts degree in Guitar as a student of Jacob Wise in spring 2024. He was accepted into the School of Music at the University of North Texas to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies.
