Adjunct Professor of Drama
Sarah Brown joins the Austin Community College faculty with over 20 years of experience in scenic design and technical theatre. She holds an MFA in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University and a BFA in Design from Baylor University. As a member of the Local 800 Art Directors Guild, Sarah has extensive experience in Los Angeles as a set designer for television and in New York as a scenic painter and designer. Excited to be back in Texas and part of the vibrant Austin community, Sarah is eager to share her expertise and enthusiasm for the arts with ACC students, aiming to inspire and prepare the next generation for successful careers in theatre and design.
