Caroline Reck trained in Movement with June Kemp of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, and with the mime Thomas Leabhart in the Decroux mime style. She is a graduate of Ecole Internationale de Theatre, Jacques Lecoq in France and has an MFA in Theatre for Self-Producing Artists from Towson University in Baltimore.  She currently teaches Theatre Movement to the BFA Acting students at St. Edwards University.  In addition to being a Movement teacher and physical theatre practitioner, she is a professional puppeteer and teaches workshops in puppetry locally (UT Austin and ACC), nationally (The O’Neill Theatre Center) and internationally (Université de Lorraine, FRA). Caroline is a Co-Artistic Director of Glass Half Full Theatre, an Austin-based company known for visual storytelling through innovative puppetry forms, detailed physical theatre narratives, and multilingual performances. She has received local awards from the B. Iden Payne and Austin Critics Table for Acting, Directing, Writing, Design, and Puppetry.
