Viscom Print Services
You can get your work professionally printed at our in-house print shop, which uses a commercial grade Ricoh printer (nicknamed ‘The Beast’).
Print services are free, however they are only available for Viscom class projects. Ask your instructors about opportunities for printing.

Production Lab
Print services are offered in the Production Lab in room 2340. In addition to printing, the Production Lab is an open workspace for all Viscom students. It houses tutoring services, a computer lab, light boxes, print tools, and more.
FAQs
What can I print?
Single pages, posters, brochures, booklets, business cards, etc. Full color printing is available.
What is the turn-around time?
Allow at least 7 days to receive your final printed work.
What sizes can I print?
The Beast is capable of printing on all standard paper sizes up to 18″x 12″ (oversize tabloid). Projects can be trimmed after printing.
Will you trim my project for me?
You may discuss this with our print assistant, but as a general rule projects will be returned untrimmed. Trimming tools are available in the Production Lab. If you’re unsure how to trim your project ask the print assistant or your instructor for help.
What paper can I print on? Do you have gloss? Different colors?
A wide variety of paper finishes and colors are available. Stop by the Production Lab in room 2340 to view a sample book of the available paper. Note, not all paper options are available in all dimensions.
Is there a limit to the number of pages I can print?
Yes. The maximum number of printed pages for one job is 20.
Can I print multiple copies of the same project?
Yes, you may request up to five copies of an individual-page project (posters, flyers, brochures etc.). You may request up to 2 copies of a multi-page project (booklets, etc.). Note that the entire project (including copies) cannot exceed 20 printed pages.
Is double-sided printing available?
Yes!
Can I get my project stapled?
Yes. The Beast is capable of single stapling for multi-page projects. Double stapling (saddle stitch stapling) is also available for booklets. Note that the staple placement is fixed so this is only supported for projects with dimensions that are large enough.
Can I print a project draft?
No. Print services are intended for printing final projects only. Ask your instructor about printing drafts on the smaller printers available in Viscom classrooms.

Printing for Non-Viscom Classes
For all other printing needs, free black and white printing (up to 15 pages per day) is offered in the ACCelerator in building 1000, on the bottom floor.
