Richey is a filmmaker and educator.<\/p>\n<p>His credits include <em>Fig<\/em>, directed by Ryan Coogler, a narrative short about human trafficking that was purchased and aired on HBO for two years and the critically-acclaimed documentary <em>Code Black<\/em>, which was picked up by CBS as a fictional, hour-long drama that ran for three season.\u00a0 He also worked with the internationally-renowned director Terrance Malick helping finish the decades old documentary <em>Voyage of Time<\/em> reflecting on the entirety of natural history.\u00a0 He has worked in entertainment on three continents over two decades. \u00a0Andrew received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Directing from Southwestern University and a MFA at the University of Southern California\u2019s School of Cinematic Arts.<\/p>\n<p>Presently he is a Professor in Austin Community College\u2019s RTF program and at Southwestern University. \u00a0He also leads production at <em>New Sky Kids<\/em>\u00a0 Children&#8217;s Entertainment Network.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"profile-pic__circle alignnone wp-image-1677 size-thumbnail aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/admc.austincc.edu\/rtf\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/RicheyHeadshot-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Andrew Richey<\/strong><br \/>\nAssociate Adjunct Professor<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"mailto:andrew.richey@austincc.edu\">andrew.richey@austincc.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Andrew C.
