Austin Community College\u2019s Game Development, Animation, and Motion Graphics program is all about training students for the local and national job market. Our degree and certificate programs are designed by a committee of local digital industry pros preparing you to jump into the creative and rewarding fields of game development, animation, and motion graphics. Austin Community College is the FIRST community college in the nation designated as an Adobe Creative Campus. As an ACC Game Development, Animation, and Motion Graphics student, the\u00a0Adobe Creative Cloud is now available to at minimal cost.\u00a0This suite of products gives you unlimited access to industry-leading creation tools for graphic design, video editing, and web development such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Premiere Pro, Spark and more. Open lab time is available to registered GDAMG students in classrooms at the Highland campus. Open lab hours are posted on the door to each classroom and will change each semester based on availability. In addition, tutoring is available during certain open lab hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

Open lab time is for GDAMG class assignments only; do not use it for non-departmental classes, personal, or outside work. Open lab rules are posted in each room. Failure to comply with these rules may result in loss of open lab privileges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Advisors will be able to describe the various degrees, answer your questions, and assist you in mapping out a course schedule. Students wishing to enter any of our programs of study are not required to have art, design or computer experience, although it is helpful.
